Your Chance to Step into the Limelight...
As you might have read in your local newspaper or on my website
recently, the weekends now come early to Hitchin with the
hottest, most happening event on a weekday - The Open Acoustic
Night every Thursday at The Spa Bar, Hitchin, Herts.
On an average night, you can expect to sit back and be entertained
by live acoustic performers and some of the freshest, up-and-coming
talent in the local area. Well now you have the opportunity
to take a more active role in the evening's line-up. Your
hostess for the evening, Donna Mackay, is throwing down the
gauntlet to any budding presenter who would like to do her
job for a night.
Donna is holding a competition, where the first prize is
the chance to host one of these live music events for a night.
To enter the prize-draw, get down to the Spa Bar between 8.20pm
and 11.00pm on any Thursday from (and including) 7th November
and 28th November 2002 and make sure you put your name down.
Each entry costs £3 and you can enter as many times
as you like - the more times you enter, the greater the chance
of your name being pulled out of the hat! And as the winner,
you get to choose which Thursday night you'll present.
All money raised as a result of the competition will be used
to fund the production of a compilation CD featuring all the
artists who perform regularly at The Spa Bar. That means the
great live music you hear every Thursday night will no longer
be restricted to just one evening a week!
